The Rifugio Torre di Pisa is on top of Cavignon, at 2671 m altitude. It can be reached on foot from Passo Feudo. The mountain hut (rifugio) will reopen in July 2017 after a complete renovation. It consists of two floors with sleeping space for 35 on the upper floor, sub-divided into two large dormitories and two smaller ones. The mountain hut gets its name from the oblique pinnacle, about twenty metres high, which rises up not far from the hut itself and is very similar to the famous Tuscan monument (the tower of Pisa). It offers an exceptional viewing point to enjoy the rising sun.
